She got her inspiration for the Public Theatre from The American WoodType Book, she realized that she could use different weights to symbolize New York. When designing became computerized, she missed painting and touching art supplies and feeling the materials when designing. Paula says you should be in a state of play. On the Citi job, she didn't have a hard time designing the logo, but persuading people to use the logo. I love that her work is modern and playful at the same time. Her work with the Noise Funk was both captivating and fun to look at. It instantly made me more interested in what the play was about. I've always thought that typography is a huge component in whatever design you make, but now I have realized that there is a lot more to typography than I thought.

Tony is a Product Designer. His three tips were to: Look broader, Look Closer, Think younger. I see some details, I'm usually good at noticing/observing things. I can make myself more detail oriented by paying more attention to certain things, and make myself look more closely at things that I usually don't look at too closely.
